KY Gaits to Growth is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit corporation. In order to keep our fees affordable, and also service those who cannot afford to pay for a program such as this, donations are essential. The majority of our income comes from donations, gifts, grants and special events. Our program is beginning to grow thanks to the support of many, many people in the community.

EMPLOYEE MATCHING PROGRAMS
If you contribute to Gaits to Growth already, check to see if your employer will match your contribution – many employers will! This is an easy way to double your contribution.

VOLUNTEERS
Volunteers are becoming vital to our program! We need volunteers to bring in and turn out horses, groom, muck stalls and clean tack. Previous experience with horses is required, and volunteers must be 14 years of age or older. We also need volunteers to help with the program itself, preparing materials for each session, assisting with research, etc. Gaits to Growth requires that all volunteers participate in a basic training session, and for those that will be working around the kids, a background check is required. For continuity and training purposes we ask each volunteer to commit to a 1 to 4 hour time slot each week for the duration of a semester or during the summer.
