Summer Program

In the News

Kentucky Gaits to Growth, which uses a method called Equine Guided Education, held a groundbreaking recently. From left are Rene Guagliardo, Cary Hintz, Dolly Hintz, Erin Hall, and Kelly Coppinger. Gaits to Growth will begin a pilot with Versailles Montessori School elementary and middle school students during the fall 2005 school year. Construction of the barn and indoor and outdoor arenas will be completed in October 2005. Gaits to Growth is located on Caerindoll Farm, 2421 Dry Ridge Road in Versailles.

ERIN HALL, right. of Kentucky Gaits to Growth in Versailles, poses with Ariana Strozzi at a showing of Strozzi's art. Hall recently received her certification as an Equine Guided Educator after graduating from a five-week training program on Strozzi's California ranch. Strozzi is an internationally respected pioneer in Equine Guided Education and co-founder of the Equine Guided Education Association. Gaits to Growth will be offering an Equine Guided Education program beginning in November.

Emiel Domis and Sharon Amberg, innkeepers of Historic Rose Hill Inn in Versailles, donated items from the inn's old tack room to Kentucky Gaits to Growth. Accepting the donations are Nick Guagliardo and Kiera Hintz, children of the partners, and a friend, Peter Snyder.
