Who We Are

Corporate Vision Statement

KY Gaits to Growth is an organization which partners closely with local schools, communities and parents to further build a foundation for our chilren, and from which our children will move forward into the world.

The team behind Kentucky Gaits to Growth, Inc. has the diversity, talent and vision to create what is possible; as well as the motivation and desire to achieve what is necessary.

Kentucky Gaits to Growth, Inc. is directed by a productive and dedicated management team, as outlined below:

Erin Hall, Operations Director
Erin has been riding and competing since she was nine, and worked in the thoroughbred racehorse insurance business for 15 years.  In addition to her responsibility of overseeing the farm as the Operations Manager,
Erin will serve as Head Equine Specialist, a title that is reinforced through her certification as an Equine Guided Educator from an Equine Guided Education Association endorsed program.  Erin completed a five-week intensive program located at the Strozzi Ranch in Valley Ford, CA, where she studied and was certified in the principles of horsemanship, facilitation concepts, and equine experiential exercises as they apply to human development.  Erin is one of the founders of Gaits. 

 

Kelly Coppinger Executive Director
Kelly has over 20 years experience in the corporate world as a manager, facilitator, “change agent”, and project manager.  Kelly is responsible for negotiating and maintaining school contracts, fundraising, marketing, and grant writing.  Kelly will also serve as head facilitator for corporate retreats focused on team-building, goal setting, and change implementation.  Kelly completed Equine Assisted Learning in a Montessori setting through Strides to Success in
Indianapolis , Indiana .  Kelly is one of the founders of Gaits.   

Cary Hintz, Program Director
Cary has been riding and working with horses for over a year, and completed her Level 1 training with EAGALA. While living in Virginia , Cary co-founded, organized and ran the local “Families with Children from China ” support group, starting with nine families and growing to over 100 within nine years.  These organizational skills, her work experience in social services, and her education in business and psychology are critical to this unique group.  Cary is responsible for the development and implementation of our program curriculum, the budget, and our wonderful web site.  Cary is one of the founders of Gaits.
